Good Morning, Boys and Girls

Today is Wednesday, 25th March.
David Walliams Daily Read

Lots of you worked really well yesterday. Benson, Nevaeh and Ruby worked on xtramath.
Set yourselves a goal for the week. So far, Ruby you are on 47 in Multiplication, Nevaeh,
you are on 82 in Addition and Benson, you are on 39 in Addition.

Amanda wrote on her bathroom mirror and posted a photo on Seesaw, Ruby uploaded an
exercise routine onto Seesaw and Davey, Amelia, Lewis, Nevaeh and Ruby all showed
evidence that they scored 100% on The Shipwrecked Sailor. Lots of emails were sent
yesterday, some with jokes. Ruby sent a very clever Knock, knock joke - Knock Knock Who's
there? Broken Pencil Broken Pencil who? There's no use telling, its pointless!

Keep working on the programme that was set on Monday - further down this page - especially
the letter to your future self for the time capsule, and email each other to let them know you are
caring for them by thinking of them and sending them a hello, how are you? email message.
Have a go at Ruby's exercise routine that she posted onto Seesaw yesterday, and post
your own one on Seesaw today.

Remember to go to Storyathon and vote for the story you like best from the set of stories that
was sent to you. Children from other schools are voting on your stories. This has to be done by
tomorrow.

Do you know how to make your bed? If not, learn to do this during this week.

Riley, have you revisited your story, A Sight to Remember? Upload it to Seesaw so that everyone
can read it and see the wonderful vocabulary that you used, to help us to see pictures in our
minds.
Stella, have you put the speech marks into your story yet?

Have a lovely day of learning. Take photos to show us what you are doing and send it to Seesaw.
Remember to write the caption, 'Please don't post on Seesaw' if you don't want it to be posted.

I have posted a puzzle or 2 on the Home School page in your Writing Folder in your Drive. I will
add some more maths during the day.

I have set a new book from Epic for those of you who have scored 100% on the Quiz at the end
of The Shipwrecked Sailor. It is called The Magic Scooter. Show the 100% sticker on the 3rd slide
on your Google Slides Show, Reading From Epic - evidence that you understood the story. The
evidence you are showing that you have read these books will go towards me signing off your
Pizza wheel when we get back to school.

Thank you, God, that we are all still safe.

Tuesday, 24th March
How are you? I hope you are well. Email me on Gmail to let me know at
pam.t@stpaulsnga.school.nz
Further down this page, on yesterday's post (Monday's post) is a timetable for you to use.
The timetable has your learning programme on it.
How did you get on with your learning yesterday? How did you get on with your
exercise plan? Type it out on a Google doc in your Topic Folder, then upload it
to Seesaw, so that we can all see it. We can use each other's for our daily exercise.

What real life learning did you do yesterday? eg Did you learn to cook something?
Did you start to learn to do something new? eg learning to play the ukelele from youtube?
Post on Seesaw so that we can all see what you are learning.
Visit Storyathon and vote. You have a set of stories which you can vote for. Voting closes
on Thursday, so you have until then to vote. We are not given our own school stories.
Other schools are given our's.
Have you started your time capsule yet? Type your letter to your future self on a Google
Doc in your Drive, then upload it onto Seesaw if you want to, so that we can all see the
things that you love at the moment.
Remember that everything for Seesaw comes to me first, so I can post or delete it
or send it back to you for fixing up. If you want to show me something you have done,
but don't want to post it on Seesaw, write the caption, 'Please don't post this on Seesaw.'
Keep reading down this page to see yesterday's programme. Keep doing the activities
that are there, and I will post to your Home-School Learning page in Google Docs in your
Writing Folder, any special learning that you can do.
