Mrs Koppens asked us to find out what would happen to eggs if we put them in different liquids.
What We Did:
1. We put 4 eggs in the bottom of 4 containers.
2. We added white vinegar to one, water with salt in it to the 2nd, orange juice to the 3rd and milk to the fourth.
Hypothesis (What We Thought Would Happen)
We wrote what we thought would happen to it after 24 hours.
Our Findings (What happened) (The Reactions)
1. The egg shell of the egg in the vinegar began to peel away and the egg increased in size.
2. There was no change to the size of the egg in the salted water but the egg shell had cracked.
3. The egg shell of the egg in the orange juice began to peel away.
4. There was no change to the egg in the milk.Conclusion: (Why Did That Happen?)
