Nevaeh - Can you please go back to Storyathon. I've given you some learning about speech marks. Can you please work on this.
Today is Gumboot Friday. It was started by Mike King , who also began an organisation called 'I am Hope', an organisation that focuses on mental health. One of the important things for our mental health is keeping up connections, and you are keeping up connections so well with your posts on Seesaw. Well done. Keep it up. We love seeing what you are doing. Take a photo of all the gumboots you can find, and post the photo on Seesaw or create a poster about Gumboot Friday and 'I am Hope', and advertising how important it is to keep connecting.
Kiwi Kids News has posted its weekly quiz. Read the articles first so you can get all the answers correct.

The weather is being kind to us, so make sure you get lots of fresh air and sunshine, which contribute to our good health. Keep up your routines - get dressed, make your bed, pray, eat breakfast, clean teeth and wash. Think of 5 things that you are grateful for today.
Remember that all of you in your house should be helping, so that it will be a positive experience. What are you doing to help around the house?
It looks like you and your families are having a holiday, and giving school work a bit of a break so I won't post any school work here for the rest of the week.
I will post again next Monday, 6th April.
Some really great activities were posted on Seesaw yesterday. Go and have a look.
Kaden worked on a word activity, Chloe's Lady Gaga puppet sang a song, and we saw some yummy baking in the Cowen house. Some of Riley's writing from Storyathon was posted, and Chloe, after she showed us her 100% certificate from The Magic Scooter quiz, pushed the Activity tab on Seesaw and showed evidence that she is a Master of the subtraction strategy, using place value to split the smallest number.
Go back to Seesaw and write a comment on someone's post.
Samuel joined us yesterday when he opened our class blog and we are just waiting for Fletcher to come back to the class blog and show some of his learning. Have you had a chance to see Ella's and Benson's puppet show yet? It is funny, and Taina's creations - his fort, his goose and his boat, very cleverly constructed.
Go to Seesaw and write a comment on either Taina's post or Ella and Benson's post.
Keep posting on Seesaw what you are doing. Fletcher said that he likes that part the best, and write comments on each others' blogs so that you all know that others are looking at what you are doing. Remember that your comments need to be kind.
Jesus said, "Do not fear. I am with you." We know, God, that you are with us and you are looking after us. Thank you. Please continue looking after the nurses and doctors, and the people working in the chemist shops who organise medicines for their customers.
