This morning, let us pray for all the families of people who are working 'on the front line' - nurses, doctors, employees at petrol stations, supermarkets, and other essential workers eg the workers who collected your rubbish yesterday. Thank you, God, for these workers and for their families. Please bless them with good health and happiness.
Lots of you are continuing with your choices, and I really like the way that you are not being on the computer all the time - you are taking breaks during the day.
All of you have got a Baseball Puzzle and some maths to practise on your Home School page in your Writing Folder. Well done, Ella, Benson, Stella and Chloe, on your maths on your Home School document. I have given you some more to practise.
Well done, Taina, on these creations:
Benson has been working on Dance Party and Chloe has her user name and password for Hour of Code. I think she is going to do that today. After reading The Shipwrecked Sailor, she wrote response to it and Benson inserted his 100% certificate into his Reading From Epic slides. Ty has been investigating Goosebumps books on Epic and Davey and Thomas have been practising maths on Prodigy. Ella, Nevaeh and Ruby practised xtramath and Chloe and Georgia have put teddies in their windows for people who are going on a Bear Hunt around their street. Chloe also posted her exercise routine on Seesaw.
Ruby and Davey listened to Grubby Gertrude read by David Walliams. Today he is reading Trish the Troll at Elevenses. These stories are from his book, The Worst Children 2.
Davey and Nevaeh voted on their favourite stories on Storyathon. The voting has been extended for another week, so go on Storyathon and vote.
Riley and Lewis watched Science in a Van which is streamed live on youtube at 12.45 each day for 30 minutes. They were talking to Lewis in response to the comments he was posting in Top Chat, while they were going through their Floating and Sinking experiments.
Keep posting on Seesaw, so that we can see things that you are doing during this time.
Here are some ideas for today's Programme:
After you have prayed, dressed, washed, made your bed and eaten your breakfast, exercise. Use your own exercise routine or follow this one.
Tawa School teacher reads Bad Jelly the Witch
Visit your Homeschool page and do the maths. Write your answer to the Baseball Puzzles.
Remember to clean up after you have eaten your morning tea.
Read The Magic Scooter and write a story about your own magic scooter - where it took you, why and research that place so you can add details about that place into your story.
Remember the ideas in your Home School Book.

The Kiwi Kids News Quiz has been posted. The Quiz can be located under the Homework Tab. (The user name and password are on your Homeschool page) Make sure you read the articles before attempting the Quiz because your goal is 100%.
Lunch and clean up.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, when we remember that Jesus is beginning to get close to his last days on earth. He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, and all the people were so excited that they lined the streets calling out Hosanna to the Lord, waved palms (like we wave flags today) and laid their cloaks and palms on the ground (like the red carpet is used today).
Maths Programmes - xtra math, Prodigy, Manga High, Mathletics or Playground Maths.
Remember all the ideas in your Home School book and remember to post what you can on Seesaw for us to look at.
Have a lovely day.

How are you all? It was lovely to see your posts on Seesaw yesterday - Lewis setting the record for running up and down your hallway, and Ruby and Nevaeh working on your exercise plan. Davey, you made lemonade. You were smiling while you were drinking it, so it must have been delicious. Add it onto Seesaw, so everyone can share, and you can tell us there what it was like. Some of you worked on your basic facts in xtramath. Chloe, you are at 93 on Addition - getting close! Nevaeh, you are on 80 in Addition, Ella, you are at 74 on Subtraction, and Ruby, you are at 47 on Multiplication. Benson and Stella, your little box is still grey, which means you need to keep going until it says you are finished. Ruby, you sent me some more very clever jokes: What did the cake say to the child? You want a piece of me. Why did the school children eat their homework? Because the teacher said it was a piece of cake.
Today is the last day you can vote for your favourite story on Storyathon, so remember to do that today.
On kiwikidsnews, there is an article about NASA building a supersonic plan out of old parts - inspiration to all of you who like taking things apart. If you want to read about BTS on the feature article page, the user name is on the Home School page in your Writing Folder in your Drive. Keep reading kiwikidsnews articles to keep up to date with the news that is happening around the world.
Well done, Chloe, for getting all your maths correct on your Home School page. The next set is using bigger numbers. All of you have got maths activities on your Home School page in your Writing Folder on your Drive.
Well done, on the time you are putting into your reading. You responded to The Shipwrecked Sailor, Chloe. Take a screenshot of the 100% certificate that comes up when you have completed the quiz and insert it onto the slide. Well done, Nevaeh and Ruby for reading The Magic Scooter and inserting your 100% certificate onto the slide in Reading From Epic in your Reading Folder on your Drive. You might want to write a story about the time that you had a magic scooter. Where did you go to? Why did you choose that place? Do a Google search about that place to include details in your story.
Type it onto a new doc in your Writing Folder on Google Drive, so that it can be uploaded and shared on Seesaw.
This morning, you might want to have a go at this Fitness video after you have made your bed, had your breakfast, got dressed, washed yourself, cleaned your teeth and said your morning prayers, thanking God that you and your family are safe and well, and asking God to look after the people of the world today.
Wow! That was exhausting! but I loved it!
David Walliams is reading a different story to you every day. You can listen to him at this site. Today's story is Grubby Gertrude. Find the sentence that begins with click here and enjoy! Elevenses
What else are you doing? Have you had a go at the Lego Challenge yet?
Can you solve this? Email me your answer with the rule that you followed.
Have you played the Scavenger Hunt yet?
I will post a different one tomorrow for those of you who enjoy doing things like this.
Are you still working on your time capsule? Don't hide it away yet, because you might want to add to it eg a daily diary of what you are doing and how you are feeling, and 10 things that your are grateful for.
Remember to keep looking at the ideas in your Home School book. When you make something, remember to post a photo or video of it on Seesaw.
Last night, on TV3, I saw people having a go at throwing a piece of paper rolled up into a ball, into a bin. Some of the ways they did it were creative. Ask an adult at home to watch it on demand on TV3 and have a go yourself.
Keep looking at your Home School page in your Writing Folder. I will keep posting learning there for you.
Have a lovely day. Keep uploading photos and videos onto Seesaw so that you can share with each other what you are doing. Remember that you can send comments to each other's posts as well. Make sure the comments are kind and helpful.
