Sleep-In Saturday
Good morning. It's the weekend. Yesterday, lots of you went onto our class blog and it was great to have pictures to show you of what some of you have been doing. Fletcher said that that was what he liked most about the class blog page before he worked hard on some maths, so I will keep showing you. Remember to keep posting pictures of what you are doing.
Ella and Benson worked hard on their maths as well. Ruby read this book and Ella read this one.
Did anyone do the Kiwi Kids News Quiz? This was the first question.
If you want to do it today, the user name and password are on your Home School page in your Writing Folder.
Benson, Ella and Nevaeh practised on xtramath, but only one of you has written the right answers to the Baseball Puzzles on your Home School page. Look at the first 2 pictures; they are the same, so what 2 numbers that are the same ad up to 8? 4 + 4 = 8, so the batsmen are worth 4.
The next line has a batsman + and a bat and ball. Together they add up to 10 so ? + 4 = 10, so the bat and ball must be 6, because 6 + 4 = 10,The next line is the bat and ball + a base. The bat and ball = 6, and the answer is 9, so 6 + ? = 9
6 + 3 = 9, so the base must be 3, so the last line is batsman (4) + base (3) = 7. The answer is 7. Try this one which I will put on your Home School page later on today.

Lots of you worked on Prodigy and Hour of Code. Are you making up routines for you to dance to? When we get back we can plug your Chrome Books into the data projector and dance your ceations together.
Lewis, I saw your comments on Science in a Van; luckily we can watch it after it has been streamed live, as well, eh. Science in a Van will continue every day, including today and tomorrow, at 12.45 until 1.15 on youtube. Just search on the youtube site, Science in a Van. Click here
David Walliams also continues reading every day. Today he is reading Hank's Pranks. Click here.
Yesterday, when I was out walking, I saw lots of boys and girls out in their front yards playing outside, making forts, playing ball games and tag games. Today is going to be a sunny day, so I hope you will spend lots of time outside, soaking in the Vitamin D from the sun which helps you to fight infection. Help at home, doing the washing, the dishes, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and making your bed.
Let us pray today for all the people who are still working eg the police and ambulance officers. May God look after them while they are looking after all of us. Grant them good health and happiness.
Mr Emms has sent through a page of fun things for you to do. Check it out here and I have put a copy into your drive in your Writing Folder. It is called Fun Activities.
Have a lovely day.
