Term 2 Week 4 Tuesday

Good morning, boys and girls. Today, we thank God that there were no new coronavirus cases yesterday, and thank you, Lord, that we are all still safe. Please look after everyone and keep everyone safe. Look after Father Aherne and all the other priests.

The winners of the Name That Story Quiz yesterday were the morning team - because no one turned up for the afternoon Zoom meeting. Today, there will be 2 quiz Zoom meetings - one at 10am and one at 2pm. Choose which one to come to. Davey and Mitchell will be at the 10am meeting. The number of correct answers by the morning team will be set, then the afternoon team will try to beat them. Today's quiz is on General Knowledge.

xtramath: Remember to practise your basic facts on xtramath each day. Well done, Ella, Jorja and Adam who practised yesterday.

Storyathon: Please use the motivations in Storyathon to write this week. Well done, Ava and Nevaeh who have been 'writing up a storm'.

Writing: Listen to the story, Three Siblings and a Secret. Write your own Mother's Day story and upload it to Seesaw, or draw pictures to show the parts of the story, so I can put pictures in amongst the text.

Reading: Read about Mother's Day Around the World and make a poster about Mother's Day Around the World. Open a new google doc or google slides in your Reading Folder, create your poster then upload it to Seesaw.
